I love how surprised Oniki looks. Nats must like having that effect on guys, since she seems to enjoy causing similar expressions on Leth in canon.

Never stop AUing your own canon! It'd be a shame to waste such awesome ideas like this. Of course, I'm probably biased, since I was cheering to Bel/Bel (though I -LOVE- Nats/Leth, too!), so it makes me very happy to see you're flexible with the rival ships. ^_^

As a side note, I agree with Flane-kanja that the development of the relationships in RtE really did seem organic and not forced. I did start out reading with a feeling that Niki and Nats would get together, but over time the characters evolved, and I really enjoyed how their growth had them going in unpredictable yet totally natural directions (romantically speaking). That was one of my favorite parts about RtE. You can tell, reading it, that the characters and story were allowed to grow into themselves, which is something I feel long, epic stories absolutely need in order to be believable and natural. You really did do a good job, in that aspect (and a lot of other aspects, too). ^_^
